New things are fun!

So, last night was the launch of the Nintendo 3DS. I went to Game with my friend Mike for the midnight launch. We were entered into a raffle to win their 3DS for free, and surprisingly I won. So I got my 3DS for free as well as buying Street Fighter IV.

So I’ve had a play on it, and yeah it’s good. It’s a shame all the internet features aren’t available yet, but then good things come to those who wait! I really enjoy playing with the Augmented Reality Cards, I’ve also gathered up some Play Coins already so I bought some bonuses on the game too. So clever how its done. I was actually surprised with the 3D. The depth slider works really well, as having it on the top setting, I feel, hurts my eyes after a while, so I’ve set mine just below the middle and its working fine. The pedometer works as good as always, today I totaled 6304 steps so that’s all good. 1000 steps is a full days worth of Play Coins so I did well there (only went to town and back!). That’s another thing, I like Street Fighter, I’ve never bought any of the games before, so this was my first and it’s got a lot of features on it, however as I got my free 3DS and had that extra £200 in the bank, I thought I’d get Nintendogs + Cats and an Accessories Pack too. Nintendogs is an excellent upgrade to the original DS, and walking around the house gathered up 63 steps which was equivalent to 6 free dog biscuits so there’s some pedometer action there. A Day in the Life of…

Hot day today, no cloud in the sky. Wearing shorts for the first time in 2011 and it’s only March! And people were saying it was going to snow?! Yeah right!

No reason for me to write a post today, just felt that I wanted to right now. iTunes seems to only want to listen to Glee today, so I’m stuck with it.. though it kinda fits with the happy hot day today! Windows open as there is a slight breeze which is really nice as my room is hot and stuffy.

So I went to town, had to get some more paracetamol anyway, and Amazon had a few complaints about the 3DS pre-orders so I cancelled mine and headed into town to pre-order in GAME! Not sure if I’ll go to the midnight launch, Mikes going, so I might! Adam from Uni served me, which was good too! Though the thought that I can get it in less the 40 hours sounds good!

Monday, Tuesday and today I have got out of bed before 11am and I’ve found it’s so much better for me. Monday, I didn’t end up going to uni, though I felt like I’d done a day full of work before it was 3pm. So much better to see the full day, instead of sleeping it off.

Bought some toothpaste today, plus a new toothbrush. Superdrugs seems to offer a lot of 2 for £1.99 deals for toothbrushes. BUT I DON’T WANT 2 TOOTHBRUSHES!! Ended up getting one with a flexible head which seems cool.

Went into the new Pret-a-Manger in Fremlin Walk today, looks good, nice and light, very open planned for its small size. Bought something I’ve never had before: a Pizza Wrap. It’s a hot pizza on a tortilla wrap, that has been wrapped like a, well like a wrap. It was weird but surprisingly nice. It had olives in which I didn’t like, but threw them away every time I found one and it also had a bit of salad inside which was strange. I think it needed more cheese though.

Donated to British Red Cross today too. I know I haven’t really followed my Lent Challenge, but wanted to Donate some money to Japan, so thought I’d do it now.

Been working on my CV Portfolio, which is a .pdf of some of my work which I can send to employers and etc. Also sorted out my new themes for this blog and my Inspiration blog, both of which I like very much! Apart from that I think that’s it!
